Counting on you to help us preserve this iconic gem, the Heritage Center

As a past supporter of the Heritage Center and Indian River Citrus Museum, you surely recognize the value – historic and cultural – of this wonderful treasure that has served the Vero Beach community for 87 years.

Your past support has kept us in business, and we thank you.

Temporarily shuttered during COVID, the Heritage Center is now realizing the full financial shortfall that we fearfully anticipated. We received several grants; and, two small loans were forgiven. But, deferring some repairs, forgoing IT upgrades and cancelling professional services have now caught up with us.

While the City owns the property itself, Vero Heritage, Inc. is the registered charity that has the sole responsibility of stewarding the Heritage Center and operating the museum.

The current situation is grave: the building is in dire need of exterior paint and repairs, especially window repairs.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by December 16, 2022 for this job.
